Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional UX design experience with user flows and usability principles.
• Strong UI design skills including layout, visual hierarchy and responsive design.
• Knowledge of 508 compliance and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams with developers, analysts and product owners.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design, responsive patterns, and modern UX processes.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance user interfaces delivering seamless, intuitive experiences.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and user flows from requirements and user insights.
• Ensure all deliverables meet 508 compliance and accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze findings, and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Evaluate accessibility using automated and manual testing tools and recommend solutions.
• Support creation and maintenance of design documentation, style guides, and UX specs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative, user-centered environment.
