Job summary

Far West Federal Holding, LLC seeks a Training Specialist to coordinate CBP training under the PPMSS contract, supporting USBP and AMO programs. The role tracks mandatory training, certs, and facilitates lessons-learned sessions across the PMO.

The candidate will manage training materials, travel and registration logistics, and budget tracking in SAP/TRIRIGA, with a focus on government timelines and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional relevant experience may offset the education requirement with approval.
• Three or more years of relevant experience required.
• Experience coordinating federal training, certification programs, workforce development, and FAC-COR/FAC-PM processes.
• Experience facilitating working sessions, lessons-learned meetings, and process improvement.
• SharePoint content management, federal travel systems, training-registration logistics, and financial tracking experience.
• Strong writing, organization, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Schedule: 5 eight-hour days, Mon-Fri, during Government hours 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. local time; no overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PMO training execution; monitor CBP mandatory training and maintain records.
• Support Government certification processes, including FAC-COR and FAC-PM.
• Manage Training SharePoint page; research courses, schedules, and logistics.
• Coordinate registrations, travel approvals, communications, and training documentation.
• Plan and facilitate meetings; prepare agendas and distribute minutes.
• Gather input, review materials, document unresolved topics, and drive improvements.
• Plan lessons-learned sessions and develop procedures for capturing improvements.
• Track funding and budgets; prepare PRRs and track actions in SAP.
• Coordinate funding, update TRIRIGA, and report budget status monthly.
