Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Technology Director to lead the Technology Strategy for HDR's Federal Business Group. You will drive innovation, set roadmaps, and coordinate with corporate technology to ensure compliant platforms and secure cloud solutions.

You will collaborate with leadership across multiple business groups to deliver mission-critical technology for DoD, Civilian, and Intelligence sectors. The role emphasizes building a technology-focused community of practice, governance, and value

Qualifications

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience executing projects involving technological solutions within multidisciplinary engineering or professional services organizations.
• Knowledge of Federal cybersecurity frameworks and requirements including NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CUI.
• Experience evaluating technology and software development and deployment.
• Demonstrated understanding of a broad range of technologies and their applied delivery within Federal sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies relevant to Federal programs and establish metrics to measure adoption and business value.
• Drive technology innovation that supports Federal professional services delivery, including AI/ML, automation, and secure cloud adoption.
• Represent the FBG in enterprise technology planning and ensure compliance with Federal standards.
• Attend HDR Technology Leadership Team meetings and drive technology ROI, adoption, and governance.
• Develop and align technology visions and roadmaps for Federal Market Sectors and Delivery Teams.
• Partner with Corporate Technology to ensure Federal compliant platforms and investments.
