Agile Defense in Ashburn, VA seeks a Technical Writer (CBP) to convert rapidly evolving, high-assurance information into accurate, current documentation that withstands federal review.

You will work with network, cloud, security, and field engineers to capture knowledge, implement durable templates, and ensure documents stay current as systems change.

Active CBP BI, EOD, or DoD clearance is a plus and a $10,000 signing bonus applies when conditions are met.

Qualifications

• Documented technical systems you were not an expert in.
• Worked on a federal program and know in practice what handling controlled information requires.
• Built documentation standards that outlasted your own involvement.
• Got busy engineers to contribute to documentation without having any authority over them.

Responsibilities

• You will turn knowledge into documentation used by engineers and carry the program's required deliverables through federal review.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, security, and field deployment engineers to capture and structure information.
• Develop and maintain durable templates and standards that ensure consistency across documents.
