AVER, LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead planning, modernization, and delivery of enterprise technology capabilities in a federal environment. You will work with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to move initiatives from business need to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 7–10+ years of experience in product ownership or technology program delivery.
• Experience leading tech capabilities through multiple releases and lifecycle stages.
• Experience owning or contributing to roadmaps and backlogs in Agile/hybrid SDLC.
• Ability to translate business and mission requirements into technical priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with mission objectives, technology priorities, cybersecurity requirements, available resources, and budget.
• Translate operational and stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements, features, user stories, release plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Own and support backlog refinement and feature prioritization using value scoring and other methods.
• Coordinate with development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, and business teams to deliver integrated product outcomes.
• Guide initiatives through the product lifecycle from discovery through implementation and improvement.
• Plan incremental releases that deliver measurable value while aligning with enterprise standards.
• Identify and manage cross-product risks, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.
• Facilitate sprint and release planning and monitor progress and blockers.
• Develop executive briefings, business cases, decision papers, dashboards, and governance materials.
• Present status, risks, and decisions to government leadership and governance bodies.
• Support organizational change and adoption through stakeholder engagement and training.
