Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring for a US Federal Government Markets Division role in Virginia. You will manage contracts, oversee subcontractors, ensure SLA compliance, and coordinate services across inventory, site, and user support. Deep MSI product experience (WAVE, ASTRO P25) and strong RF, networking, and telephony knowledge are essential.

US citizenship and security clearance are required. The role demands 3+ years in related tech support, Windows/Linux admin, and CTI/databases familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electronics/Field Technician, Customer Support, or IT Support professional.
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and 3rd party integrations.
• Working knowledge of Analog and Digital Telephony.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), Google Apps, and quick-learning of internal tools.
• Strategic thinking, strong communication, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage services scope per contract and ensure warranty/maintenance terms are met.
• Oversee subcontractor deliverables and ensure scope adherence.
• Ensure customers understand obligations regarding service deliverables.
• Coordinate inventory, configuration, site, and user support services.
• Engage in case management and escalation for high-priority issues.
• Diagnose system failures and facilitate call management as required.
• Provide timely reporting as mandated by the contract and identify quality issues.
• Collaborate with System Administration, Vendor Management, and System Planning.
