Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Field Services Manager to lead a team of about six engineers at a customer site in Washington, D.C. You will oversee architectural design and operational integrity of mission-critical backhaul infrastructures, ASTRO 25, and CORE integrations, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with government contracts.

You will collaborate with Pre‑Sale and Post‑Sale teams, enforce documentation standards, and manage vendor relationships while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of technical experience.
• Strong experience in mission-critical network design and operations.
• Certifications such as JNCIA, NRS I, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and design technical network architectures for ASTRO 25 and backhaul systems.
• Oversee ASTRO core operations including radio programming and codeplug development.
• Manage subcontractors and vendor integration to meet project schedules.
• Provide strategic direction for team of Engineers and Field Service professionals.
• Ensure documentation standards and network diagrams are created and maintained.
