Veterans Engineering is seeking a System Administrator to support critical infrastructure for federal clients. You will manage servers and networks, monitor performance, and implement best practices for upgrades and security.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to reliable service are essential. The role emphasizes on-site work at VA facilities, with potential travel and a focus on maintaining high availability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 8+ years in system administration or related field
• BS degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline preferred
• Experience with system monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting in large IT environments

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot IT systems and networks
• Operate and monitor servers and endpoints to ensure high availability and security
• Document changes, issues, and tasks in ServiceNow with clear records
• Support OS patching, upgrades, and software installations
• Perform asset and inventory management, including equipment refreshes and disposal
