Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Student financial aid experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Federal Aid Processing: Monitor Pell Grant and Federal Direct Loan records with the U.S. Department of Education and resolve processing issues.
• Awarding and Eligibility Management: Review eligibility and update aid packages within cost‑of‑attendance and need‑based rules; make manual adjustments when required.
• Student Communication and Customer Service: Communicate with students through UF's Gator360; provide guidance and timely updates for on‑time disbursement.
• Scholarships and Private Loans: Process scholarship checks and manage private loan information; calculate remaining federal loan eligibility.
• Other Duties: Participate in financial aid presentations, travel, training, and other duties as assigned.
