Job summary

GovStrive LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Federal Staffing Specialist (Recruitment and Staffing) to lead staffing across federal hiring programs. You will conduct job analyses, develop qualification standards, and post vacancies in USA Staffing/USAJOBS to support agencies.

The role requires five years of Federal Staffing experience and a current DE Certification, with the ability to advise managers, coordinate onboarding, and ensure compliance with DE policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Federal Staffing Specialist.
• Current Delegated Examining (DE) Certification.
• Experience with merit-based placement and DE regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job analyses to identify core competencies and qualifications.
• Prepare and post vacancy announcements in USA Staffing/USAJOBS in accordance with DE regulations.
• Review qualifications, eligibility, and policies under DE and merit promotion procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and process personnel actions (SF-50s).
• Advise managers on recruitment strategies, hiring flexibilities, and workforce planning.
