Job summary

Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) invites students to join the DSA Student Experience (DSE) ’27 Cohort. Open to undergrads and grads with 3.0 GPA, maintaining full-time student status through Oct 2028.

The Summer Cohort runs 31 May 2027 to 20 August 2027 (10 weeks, 400 hours). Selected interns will work with the Small Business Office under Acquisition & Technology, gaining exposure to federal procurement and small business programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of 1 full academic year of post-high school study by June 2027.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at time of application.
• Maintain a full-time student status through October 2028.
• Enrollment in an accredited undergrad or graduate degree program with a full-time course load.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing business development assistance to small businesses regarding federal socioeconomic government contracting programs.
• Convey provisions of DCSA Small Business programs and initiatives; raise awareness and share information.
• Monitor OSBP & IE mailbox and respond to requests for Industry Briefings and Product Demonstrations.
• Coordinate access to contracting opportunities by working with the acquisition community and procurement representatives.
• Assist in developing and delivering materials to meet SBO needs and coordinating with contracting.
