The role requires adherence to USCG guidelines and a comprehensive federal background check prior to start; duties include verifying orders, packaging, inventory, and coordinating inbound/outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• Extensive federal background check required prior to start.
• Verifies orders against documents and ensures accurate shipment filling.
• Coordinates inbound/outbound shipments and maintains records.

Responsibilities

• Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents.
• Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g. manifests, bills of lading, etc.
• Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
• Assist the Base NCR Government Vehicle Motor Pool Manager by processing vehicle requests, performing vehicle refuels and taking vehicles into dealer for maintenance and/or repairs.
• Deliver printer paper to copy rooms throughout the USCGHQ building
• Other duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned
