The Shipping/Receiving Clerks perform clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments.

Qualifications

• Extensive federal background check required prior to start.
• Experience with shipping/receiving processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders against documents and ensure accurate packing for shipment.
• Prepare shipping records, manifests, bills of lading and track inbound/outbound movements.
• Coordinate with Government Mover and loading dock operations for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure appropriate stock for USCGHQ operations.
• Assist with vehicle requests, maintenance, and disposal of excess property as needed.
