Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Field Project Manager to support integrated Federal Government security projects. You will manage installation and service lifecycles from start to commissioning and final acceptance, ensuring contractual obligations, profitability, and strong customer relationships.

The role involves coordinating field execution, scheduling, billing support, and collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep work moving smoothly and in line with SLA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience preferably in the Physical Security field
• 3–5 years of construction, electrical, electronic security, or systems integration experience preferred
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV (analog and IP-based), intercom systems, and intrusion detection systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide daily functional management for assigned installation and service projects.
• Monitor SLA schedules and coordinate technical work from start-up through check-out, commissioning, and final project acceptance.
• Review contracts and schedule requirements to support procurement, delivery of materials, field office involvement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Direct employees and subcontractors on assigned projects and manage day-to-day execution.
• Maintain project records, changes, material flow, reports, correspondences, claims, punch lists, audits, schedules, and close-out analyses.
