NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in San Diego is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver quality customer service and promote our brand. You will assist customers, learn product details, and educate them on our offerings to support their needs.

You’ll handle POS transactions, keep the store tidy, and contribute across departments as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide premier customer service.
• Maintain store appearance and organization.
• Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs.
• Operate POS and handle cash, discounts, and payments.
• Complete paperwork, reports, and reconciliation.
• Be the keeper of merchandise and participate in inventories.
