Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies in Lenexa, KS, seeks a Digitization Technician to convert Indian Trust records into electronic format for the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Trust Fund Administration (BTFA). The role primarily resides at AIRR in Lenexa, with possible short-term assignments at alternate BTFA sites.

You will digitize records using BTFA-approved scanners, prepare and verify documents, and track workflow while following SOPs, federal requirements, and data handling standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience operating digitization/scanning equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs, BTFA procedures and federal record-keeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Digitize records using approved scanning equipment and BTFA policy-compliant processes.
• Prepare, scan, and verify scanned documents according to SOPs and digitization procedures.
• Assist with document prep and reassembly teams to support smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper handling, routing, and tracking of documents throughout digitization.
• Maintain adherence to federal records management requirements.
