Job summary

Dayton Group Inc. (DGI) is seeking a full-time Realty Specialist to support the DGI-ATI joint venture in Washington, DC.

The role involves land acquisition policy, lease development, and complex real estate projects across federal facilities, with duties ranging from prospectus-level leases to negotiating cost and delivery terms. The ideal candidate has PMP certification and 3 years of federal real estate experience, plus ability to work in secure environments.

Qualifications

• PMP certification required at start date or within 12 months of hire.
• Three (3) years of specialized experience including real estate acquisitions, lease policy development, lease project management, and disposition planning.
• Experience planning acquisition programs and researching deeds/public records to determine ownership; basic plat mapping and legal descriptions.
• US Citizens eligible to obtain/maintain clearance; able to work independently in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepares recommendations and policy proposals on land acquisition and leases.
• Plans short and long-range space requirements, prospectus development, and use permits.
• Assists in DoS project planning for acquisition, termination, construction, renovation, and management of real property.
• Serves as liaison with GSA, military, state/local agencies and private sector.
• Develops housing plans, briefing documents, and options reflecting relevant issues.
• Researches and evaluates related work activities to monitor or manage a project.
• Communicates rent/portfolio projections with RPM staff and maintains IRPMS data.
• Develops standards and guidance for lease procurement practices and financial arrangements; performs cost/price analyses for leases.
• Develops and evaluates policies and procedures; advises on implementation.
• Provides analytical and strategic support to stakeholders during project planning and lease delivery.
• Supports management decisions with critical analyses of program changes.
• Role involves work in secure environments supporting mission-critical operations.
