Job summary

Client is a general construction firm seeking a Quality Control Manager to own the QC program on a federally funded project in the DC/VA area. The role requires high-level experience delivering three-phase QC, submittal management, NCRs, and government interface with NAVFAC/USACE frameworks.

The candidate must hold an active CQM-C certification on day one, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and a CAC/DBIDS credential; Procore certification is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as QC or QC Manager on federal construction projects
• Named QC Manager on at least three completed federal projects
• Active CQM-C certification on day one (NAVFAC or USACE)
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
• First Aid/CPR current
• Procore Certification preferred
• CAC or DBIDS base access

Responsibilities

• Owns the QC program: three-phase inspections, non-conformance tracking, and government interface
• Develops and maintains DFOW list from contract specs and schedule
• Runs the Three-Phase QC Inspection Process for every DFOW with proper sign-offs
• Prepares and submits CQC Plan per NAVFAC/USACE requirements
• Manages submittal register and tracking from inception to approval
• Writes and closes NCRs with corrective actions and government updates
• Operates NAVFAC Dr. Checks and USACE RMS/eCMS platforms
• Prepares and submits Submittal Transmittal packages to government
