Job summary

MicroTech is seeking a Proposal Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of federal proposal development, from pre-RFP through submission. The role requires collaborating with internal teams, SMEs, and external partners to deliver compliant, compelling proposals in a fast-paced, small-business setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years writing and managing federal proposals, strong editing skills, and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, English, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience writing, coordinating, and managing federal government proposals.
• Experience in small business and/or veteran-owned environments preferred.
• Strong proposal writing, editing, and content development skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear, compelling narratives.
• Proven ability to work under aggressive deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced proposal environment.
• Experience supporting rapid-turn proposal efforts with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports development of compliant, compelling federal proposals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Writes, edits, and manages proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, Task Orders, and RFIs.
• Coordinates and manages multiple proposal efforts while maintaining schedule discipline and compliance.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned proposal efforts, including kickoff packages, proposal schedules and compliance matrices, meetings, and content development.
• Reviews and rewrites proposal sections to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality.
• Responds to clarification requests and deficiency reports within compressed timelines.
• Supports and maintains proposal knowledge management repositories and SharePoint libraries.
