Job summary

Castellum Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead and support compliant, competitive federal government proposals from pre-RFP planning through final submission.

You will coordinate with Business Development, Capture, Operations, Contracts, Pricing, technical subject matter experts, and company leadership to shape winning responses and maintain proposal resources. The role requires strong writing and project-management skills, experience with DoD or FedCiv processes, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and coordinating DoD or FedCiv proposal efforts.
• Working knowledge of Federal acquisition and proposal processes.
• Ability to interpret solicitation instructions, evaluation criteria, and PWS/SOW requirements.
• Experience developing compliance matrices, proposal schedules, outlines, and review plans.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and travel ~10%.
• Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage Federal Government proposal efforts, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, sources sought, task orders, white papers, and capability statements.
