Job summary

Ares Enterprise, LLC is seeking a talented Proposal Writer to support federal government contracting efforts. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives, develop responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and capability statements, and ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5+ years of professional proposal writing experience, preferably for federal opportunities.
• Experience writing technical, management, staffing, and past performance sections for federal proposals.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and solicitation requirements.
• Familiarity with FAR, SOW/PWS, and proposal compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical information and SME inputs into clear, compliant proposal narratives.
• Develop responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices.
• Write technical approaches, staffing plans, and management narratives.
• Tailor responses to government requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Develop executive summaries, win themes, and value propositions.
• Ensure proposal content aligns with capture strategy and is accurate.
