Job summary

Ares Enterprise, LLC is seeking a mid-level Proposal Writer/Proposal Manager/Business Analyst to support federal BD, capture, and proposal efforts. The role combines proposal writing with coordination, requirements analysis, and federal market research in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle from solicitations through final submission, analyze opportunities, build win themes, and support bid/no-bid decisions with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in federal proposal development, management, or capture.
• Ability to analyze solicitations, PWS/SOW requirements, and evaluation criteria.
• Developing compliance matrices, outlines, schedules, and requirements trackers.
• Translate technical content into clear, persuasive proposal content.
• Strong written communication and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit federal proposal content including technical and management approaches.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and related documents for compliance.
• Create proposal matrices, outlines, schedules, and submission checklists.
• Manage small-to-medium proposals from release to submission.
• Coordinate inputs from executives, SMEs, PMs, recruiters, partners, and subs.
• Facilitate kickoff, status, and review meetings; support final reviews.
