Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Proposal Visual Designer to work within the Federal Civilian Sector, shaping the visual direction and storytelling framework for federal pursuits and submissions.

You will translate complex ideas into persuasive visuals and collaborate with technical experts, proposal managers, and other stakeholders to deliver polished graphics for proposals, presentations, and intranet communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field or 9 years experience with high school diploma
• Experience in government proposal development and layout requirements
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proposal visuals and presentation design
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma
• Experience designing and maintaining content in Microsoft SharePoint
• Ability to translate complex content into engaging visual communications

Responsibilities

• Shape the visual direction and storytelling framework for pursuits and submissions
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear visual narratives
• Design high-impact proposal graphics, infographics, and diagrams
• Collaborate with strategists, writers, capture teams, and SMEs
• Create visuals for presentations, executive briefings, and collateral
• Maintain brand standards across deliverables
• Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Utilize AI tools to support ideation and design workflows
