Job summary

CTSI is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead federal proposal efforts for manufacturing, prototyping and engineering design work. You will coordinate technical volumes, cost estimates, and manufacturing approaches for DoD and similar customers.

The role requires a strong technical background, experience with AS9100 quality environments, and the ability to translate engineering concepts into compelling narratives. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and comfortable interfacing with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; mechanical/manufacturing disciplines preferred.
• 5+ years of federal proposal leadership experience is required.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, SOWs, and specifications is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal efforts through full lifecycle for build-to-print and prototyping programs.
• Coordinate technical and cost volumes with engineering and production teams.
• Organize kickoff meetings, track schedules, and ensure compliant submissions.
• Develop manufacturing approaches and staffing plans for proposals.
• Act as primary contact for assigned proposal efforts and manage reviews.
