Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a qualified engineer to act as the technical liaison between federal government design and construction teams and contractors. You will review submittals, drawings, specifications, RFIs and reports to ensure compliance with standards and deliverables.

You will apply engineering principles across planning, design review, construction administration and project assessment while supporting cost estimates and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Domestic travel is required; overseas travel possible.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between federal government client design branch, construction branch, and contractors.
• Review design submittals, shop drawings, specs, RFIs, and reports for compliance with standards.
• Apply engineering principles across planning, design review, construction administration and assessment.
