Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a strong Project Manager to support Operations & Maintenance and modernization for a federal client. This on-site DC role requires ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and involves coordinating two agile teams across CFTC applications.

The PM will report to the COR, mentor staff, and guide planning, risk management, and release schedules while ensuring high-quality deliverables on schedule with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five or more years of relevant project management experience in an enterprise software development environment.
• Ability to work in a demanding and deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical government officials.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Commission staff and the contractor.
• Report directly to the COR and assign tasks to the contracting team.
• Lead two agile development teams to deliver system fixes and enhancements across 10 CFTC applications.
• Staffing and mentoring junior team members.
• Work with developers to estimate and build solutions.
• Lead projects through agile planning, monitoring, and risk management.
• Coordinate with leadership to plan scope priorities and release schedules.
• Govern expansion to new technologies and ensure contract policies and security.
• Deliver high-quality project deliverables on the prescribed delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with COR, ACOR, and Product Owners to resolve blockers.
