Job summary

2ndWave LLC (2ndWave) seeks a Project Management Journeyman to lead project execution for a Federal contract in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role directs scheduling, performance, and stakeholder coordination within the Verification Division to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

The candidate will implement Agile methodologies, maintain governance artifacts, and support change management and UAT activities. Compensation reflects federal program experience and location.

Qualifications

• Experience directing and managing project execution for complex programs.
• Ability to develop project plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile artifacts, governance (RACI charts, charters), and PMBOK practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with USCIS, DHS and other agencies to promote collaboration.
• Develop data-driven strategies and KPI reports to drive operational efficiency.
• Deliver business requirements and functional specifications to support IT initiatives.
• Support end-to-end project execution including testing, deployment, and post-deployment reviews.
• Track outcomes against objectives and provide monthly status updates.
