Huitt-Zollars, Inc. in Alexandria, VA, seeks a Project Architect/PM with 8+ years of experience to support the Federal Practice. The role focuses on planning, design, documentation, and construction-phase delivery for federal and DoD clients.

The ideal candidate has strong production, coordination, and knowledge of building systems, with UFC/UFGS familiarity and potential for security clearance. Excellent client communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Approximately eight or more years of professional architectural experience.
• Experience with planning, design, documentation, or construction administration of federal facilities.
• Familiarity with UFC/UFGS and federal design criteria, with DoD experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers and leaders in delivering federal projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop architectural drawings, specifications, analyses, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Apply federal criteria and quality control procedures to project deliverables.
• Prepare meeting materials and follow up on assigned actions.
