Job summary

Huitt-Zollars in Alexandria, VA, seeks a Project Architect/PM with 8+ years’ experience to support the Federal Practice in delivering planning, design, and construction-phase services for federal clients, including DoD projects.

You will coordinate disciplines, apply UFC/UFGS criteria, and guide teams toward timely, quality project completion, with opportunity for ownership in a growing national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; NAAB-accredited degree preferred.
• Approximately eight or more years of professional architectural experience in A/E, design, or design-build.
• Experience with federal facilities and UFC/UFGS criteria; ability to obtain security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers and leaders in federal project delivery from planning to closeout.
• Develop architectural drawings, specs, and deliverables using established standards.
• Manage client relationships with proactive communication and responsiveness.
