Job summary

Huitt-Zollars in Houston Downtown is seeking an Architectural Staff IV (Non-Licensed) to support Architects, PMs, and Designers on design and construction drawings. This full-time role requires producing detailed documents in Revit and assisting in construction administration.

The ideal candidate has bachelor's in architecture and 15+ years of experience, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in BIM tools including Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Architecture required.
• 15+ years architectural experience producing detailed construction documents in Revit.
• Experience with BIM and documentation production.
• Ability to produce redlines and review project documentation for QA.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate design ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work on 2-3 projects simultaneously at various development stages.
• Prepare designs and construction documents using BIM software.
• Prepare project documents including meeting minutes and specifications.
• Visit project sites and document findings as directed.
• Research materials, assemblies, or building codes as directed.
• Coordinate consultants' models into Revit.
• Assist with submittals and RFIs and route for review.
• Attend and distribute meeting minutes and assist with correspondence.
• Prepare graphic materials for presentations.
• Select material finish boards/binders.
• Serve as Assistant Project Manager or Task Manager on projects.
