Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Project Accountant to support financial management of construction projects. You will work with the Project Accounting Manager, Project Teams, and Finance to handle accounts payable, cost reporting, owner billings, and budgeting.

The role requires accuracy, collaboration across teams, and understanding of project-based accounting within construction. Bachelor's degree in accounting plus 2+ years of project accounting experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Accounting.
• Experience administering accounting and compliance for federally funded construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Process and track accounts payable invoices; ensure timely payments.
• Set up and maintain project budgets in the accounting system.
• Manage end-to-end owner billing per contract terms.
• Process intercompany transactions: invoicing, payments, reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly cost reporting and financial closings.
