Consigli Construction is seeking a Project Accountant in Milford, MA to support project accounting within the Finance division. You will work with the Project Accounting Manager and project teams to manage AP, owner billing, budgeting, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Accounting.
• Experience administering accounting and compliance for federally funded construction projects.
• Experience with FAR Part 31 cost principles and indirect cost allocations.
• Experience with cost-reimbursable and time-and-material contracts, and federally funded grants.

Responsibilities

• Process and track accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Set up, enter, and maintain project budgets in the accounting system.
• Manage end-to-end owner billing per contract terms.
• Process intercompany transactions, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly cost reporting and monthly closings.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies.
• Organize and manage project-related financial documentation.
• Perform contract reconciliation for billing and cost tracking.
• Conduct cost and revenue analysis to support project performance.
• Support audit preparation and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in budget forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance and cash flow.
