Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's with relevant experience in a related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects or portfolios.
• Experience supervising development and publication of technical information across multiple formats.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a multidisciplinary communications team and a high-volume portfolio across publications, marketing, outreach, multimedia, and digital content.
• Lead project planning, resource allocation, schedules, budgets, milestones, and priorities to ensure on-time, on-budget deliverables.
• Serve as primary client-facing leader, coordinating with government contracting and program personnel, researchers, and stakeholders to align with contract objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end project intake, planning, execution, review, delivery, and closeout with visibility across active work.
• Coach and coordinate staff, ensuring clear roles, workload distribution, and continuity of service.
• Maintain portfolio tracking systems for schedules, milestones, risks, and project status for staff and clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to avoid impact on client outcomes.
• Implement quality management processes including reviews, metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze workload and resource needs to address capacity constraints.
