Job summary

Finch AI, a fast-growing software firm, seeks a Program Manager to lead federal contracts, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk. You will coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, and internal leaders to ensure successful delivery and compliant execution.

Preferred candidates hold a PMP, with DoD/GovCon experience and strong communication skills. Role requires onsite/Hybrid work in the DC metro area per program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing federal government programs or contracts in GovCon.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with government stakeholders.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS contracting terms and compliance.
• Preferred PMP or equivalent program management certification.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and IDIQ/ multi-task-order contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full program lifecycle for federal contracts, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Serve as primary point of contact with government customers, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Develop and maintain program plans, staffing, and Integrated Master Schedules.
• Monitor funding execution, invoicing, and cost/schedule variance reporting.
• Manage subcontractor performance and transition activities for new recompetes.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and contract terms; support proposal efforts.
• Mentor and oversee project leads and technical staff.
