Job summary

UltraViolet Cyber seeks an analytical Process Specialist to analyze, document, and optimize OCIO processes for a Federal customer. You will lead process-mapping, conduct root-cause analyses, and develop future-state designs to improve efficiency, consistency, and mission effectiveness.

You will collaborate with OCIO leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable recommendations, standardized templates, and measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Master's degree with 7+ years in process improvement, operations analysis, or related fields; equivalencies considered (16 years experience with no degree, AA + 12 years).
• Proven expertise in process analysis, mapping, and optimization in complex organizational environments.
• Strong proficiency with BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, and value stream mapping.
• Experience facilitating workshops and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred; BPM/ITIL certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current-state and future-state processes across OCIO, including intake workflows, governance, IT service management, and delivery.
• Perform gap analysis against industry best practices and desired outcomes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop Process Maps and Bottleneck Analysis deliverables using BPMN, flowcharts, swimlanes, value stream maps; capture workflows and decisions.
• Lead process-mapping and root-cause analysis sessions with cross-functional teams using 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, and FMEA; identify root causes and opportunities.
• Create evidence-based recommendations to streamline workflows and support Continuous Improvement Roadmaps.
• Support execution of improvements via structured implementation plans, schedules, and tracking; coordinate with leadership and teams.
• Develop standardized processes, templates, SOPs, and job aids; partner with change management to ensure adoption.
• Establish performance monitoring mechanisms; develop KPIs and dashboards; contribute to Monthly Progress Reports.
