Job summary

K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC. seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support a federal client in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for data dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions.

The role involves working closely with client stakeholders, public safety leaders, and technical teams to ensure dashboards support leadership decision-making. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of BA experience, strong communication skills, and a background in Power BI and data

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting Power BI dashboards, reporting, or BI projects.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document requirements for data dashboards and reporting solutions.
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders, data analysts, dashboard developers, and technical teams.
Support user acceptance testing and validation of dashboard functionality.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with federal client stakeholders.
Communicate project status, risks, and requirements updates to teams.
