K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support a federal client in Washington, DC. The role involves analyzing data, developing datasets, building dashboards, and delivering visualizations and reports to enable informed leadership decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of data analytics experience, strong Python, SQL, DAX, and Power BI skills, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable datasets and dashboards for public sector stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data analysis, reporting, BI, or related analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean data from multiple sources for dashboards and reports.
• Write SQL queries to support recurring and ad hoc reporting.
• Support ETL activities and document business rules.
• Build datasets for dashboards and analytics reports.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and other BI tools.
• Integrate Python with Power BI for advanced visualizations.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define reporting needs.
