gpac is seeking a Project Manager with federal construction experience to join a startup general contractor and participate in an employee ownership opportunity. This role offers ownership potential as the company grows and you help shape its delivery model from day one.

Responsibilities include managing federal projects from award to closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance, and coordinating with government representatives and site teams onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience managing federal construction projects for a general contractor.
• Familiarity with federal contract requirements, government documentation, and quality control procedures.
• Strong financial management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and follow through.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping build a growing business.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Manage federal construction projects from award through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with superintendents, quality control, safety personnel, and government representatives.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, reporting, and project documentation.
• Help develop the processes and standards that will support the company's growth.
• Travel to project sites as required.
