gpac seeks a Project Manager with federal construction experience to join its Norfolk-area team at the ground floor of a startup GC. This role offers ownership potential through an employee equity plan and a chance to shape project delivery and company processes as it grows.

You will manage federal projects from award to closeout, oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors, and travel to sites as needed.

Competenze

• Experience managing federal construction projects for a general contractor.
• Familiarity with federal contract requirements, government documentation, and quality control procedures.
• Strong financial management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and follow through.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a growing business.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites.

Mansioni

• Manage federal construction projects from award through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with superintendents, quality control, safety personnel, and government representatives.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, reporting, and project documentation.
• Help develop the processes and standards that will support the company's growth.
• Travel to project sites as required.
