Job summary

Synack, a leader in Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS), seeks a Technical Account Manager to onboard and run penetration tests for clients. You will tailor test scopes, coordinate with researchers, and guide stakeholders to align security objectives with practical testing strategies.

As a trusted advisor, you will communicate complex technical concepts clearly, handle multiple projects, and ensure alignment with client goals while advancing Synack's security posture and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability discovery management, risk management frameworks and remediation.
• Scripting experience and ability to develop scripted solutions.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization.
• US citizenship and Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Familiarity with PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2.
• Excellent communication to influence internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop the scope of penetration tests and guide researchers to effective testing.
• Use consultative communication to gather requirements and influence internal stakeholders.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to determine, develop, and analyze the client’s assets.
• Work independently with little guidance and provide technical product expertise to build solutions.
• Provide technical SME support to internal stakeholders and the client on testing requirements.
