Job summary

Synack is seeking a Technical Account Manager to oversee onboarding and execution of penetration tests within its PTaaS platform. You’ll scope tests, guide researchers, and translate client needs into effective testing programs that align with security objectives.

You will coordinate with internal teams, gather requirements, and ensure testing aligns with client assets and risk profiles, delivering measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability discovery management, risk frameworks and remediation.
• Experience with scripting languages and developing scripted solutions.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CISA.
• Familiarity with PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Develop the scope of penetration tests and guide researchers to effective testing.
• Gather requirements, understand customer needs, and influence internal stakeholders.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to assess client assets and testing requirements.
• Provide technical SME support to clients on testing goals and requirements.
