Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Federal Mine Remediation Lead to build and lead a Mine remediation practice across the western United States. Hybrid work model with broad collaboration across disciplines and federal clients.

The role emphasizes growth, leadership, and project delivery in CERCLA environments. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive regulatory compliance, and shape proposals and client relationships to expand the business footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental) or science (geology, hydrogeology, environmental) disciplines.
• 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• US Citizenship is required due to government work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a Mine remediation practice for federal projects.
• Coordinate diverse technical teams to deliver remedial solutions.
• Review studies, cost estimates, and regulatory submissions.
• Manage projects to meet budget, scope, and schedule.
• Develop proposals, teams, and cost estimates.
• Deliver projects and provide technical reviews for regulatory reports.
• Engage with clients and regulatory bodies to build relationships.
• Attend site visits to mines to support delivery.
