Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Federal Mine Remediation Lead based in the western United States to lead a growing Mine Remediation practice. This full-time role focuses on business development, project execution, and building technical teams to deliver CERCLA projects for public and private clients.

The ideal candidate has major project delivery experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record mentoring staff while upholding safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or science disciplines with 8+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Mine remediation experience under CERCLA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mine remediation solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with hydrologists, geologists, engineers, and cost specialists to deliver projects.
• Review work plans and data; interpret findings and conduct feasibility studies.
• Technical and financial management of projects to meet budget, quality and schedule.
• Develop proposals, project teams and cost estimates.
• Deliver reports for regulatory submissions and conduct site visits.
• Engage in business development and client relationship building.
