Job summary

AECOM seeks a Federal Mine Remediation Lead to be based in the western United States with a hybrid, full-time schedule. You will build and lead a Mine remediation group, support business development, and drive project delivery under CERCLA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental) or science (geology, hydrogeology, environmental) disciplines +8 years of relevant experience or equivalent
US Citizenship is required due to nature of work.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Mine remediation solutions meeting regulatory requirements and protect health and environment.
Coordinate diverse technical teams (hydrologists, geochemists, engineers, biologists) to meet technical and regulatory needs.
Review technical work plans, data interpretation, and feasibility studies for remediation technologies.
Manage projects to meet budget, quality and schedule commitments.
Develop proposals, project teams and cost estimates for Mine remediation.
Deliver projects and provide technical reviews for regulatory submissions.
