AECOM seeks a Federal Mine Remediation Lead to build and lead a Mine remediation group in the western United States. This full-time role supports business development, project execution and team leadership on CERCLA projects, with emphasis on federal programs.

The ideal candidate brings major project delivery experience, regulatory knowledge and a track record of building technical teams while mentoring staff in mining environments. Safety and client relationship focus are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead a Mine remediation group and support business development, project execution, and growth of the practice.
• Lead teams of engineers, scientists and other professionals to deliver CERCLA mine remediation projects.
• Review technical work plans, cost estimates, data interpretation and remediation/closure studies.
• Manage projects to meet budget, quality and schedule commitments.
• Develop proposals, project teams and cost estimates.
• Oversee delivery of projects and perform technical reviews for regulatory submissions (studies, remediation/closure plans, permit applications).
• Periodically visit mines to strengthen client relationships, support proposal development and project delivery.
• Engage in business development, cultivate client relationships, track leads, prepare presentations and network at conferences.
