Job summary

HeiTech Services is hiring a part‑time Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect to serve as the technical authority on a federal modernization project. You will own end‑to‑end solution architecture across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure Gov, AI, and data services, ensuring secure, compliant delivery within Government cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field and six+ years of Microsoft enterprise/cloud experience.
• Strong experience architecting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure or related technologies.
• Experience designing integrations among repositories, cloud services, databases, and identity/security services.
• Ability to communicate architecture, integration designs, and deployment guidance clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall solution architecture across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure Gov, data, security, workflows, AI, search, and app components.
• Provide technical direction to platform, development, AI, data, security, and testing teams.
• Assess existing Microsoft environment, including sites, libraries, metadata, permissions, and constraints.
• Design secure integration among SharePoint, 365 services, Azure services, data stores, workflows, AI services, and interfaces.
• Define system boundaries, interfaces, deployment patterns, identity models, and cross‑platform decisions.
• Ensure the governed repository remains the authoritative source with proper permissions and controls.
• Validate availability and restrictions of services within Government cloud environments.
• Oversee identity, access, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and audit capabilities.
• Provide architectural oversight for ingestion, workflow, search, AI, and app integration without hands‑on coding.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, interface specs, tech decisions, deployment guidance, and ops docs.
• Support testing, production deployment, admin handoff, and knowledge transfer.
