Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. seeks an MEP Director, Federal to lead and grow federal MEP projects within our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Practice. You will guide project delivery as PM or Principal-in-Charge, lead capture efforts, and expand strategic federal client relationships.

You will collaborate with MEP and Federal Practice leaders to win opportunities, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor teams across facilities and infrastructure projects for federal clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of MEP experience, including federal projects.
• Experience with design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes and agency requirements.
• Proven ability to develop capture strategies and lead pursuit efforts.
• Experience serving as Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge on complex federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge on federal MEP projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivery of federal facility and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight during delivery.
• Lead capture planning and pursuit strategies for targeted federal opportunities.
• Develop teaming strategies and support proposal development, interviews, and negotiations.
• Build and expand relationships with federal agencies, contractors, and industry partners.
• Represent Halff at industry meetings, conferences, and networking events.
