Stratus is seeking a Principal Architect - Practice Lead to guide Federal market operations and growth from the Miami hub. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across projects, teams, and client relations.
The successful candidate will drive performance metrics, resource planning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while upholding quality standards and compliance. Hybrid and onsite collaboration foster career growth within a dynamic design and engineering firm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
- At least 10 years in operations, project management, or market leadership.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and project portfolios.
- Proficiency with Deltek, ERP, and CRM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Support Federal Market Leader with strategic and operational initiatives.
- Oversee daily market operations, delivering on time and within budget.
- Lead workforce planning and talent matching to client needs.
- Monitor revenue forecasts, backlog, utilization, and profitability.
- Support business development through proposals and client management.
- Collaborate with project managers to align with contracts and regulations.
- Partner with HR to support staff development and performance reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement and best-practice processes.
- Act as culture ambassador across offices.
- Represent the market in planning and leadership meetings.
- Ensure health, safety, and quality standards compliance.
