Job summary

Miami Global Lines in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead end-to-end ocean, air, and land freight operations.

You will coordinate packing, crating, lashing, loading, and drayage for machinery and out-of-gauge cargo, while ensuring compliance with US Customs, BIS, FMC, TSA and international rules.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with experience in freight forwarding and good knowledge of airfreight and ocean freight procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics or related field.
• 5 years in freight forwarding or shipping operations.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight and ocean freight procedures.
• Experience with machinery or OOG/project cargo preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with carrier portals and MS Office.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shipping Manager, located in Piscataway, NJ. The Shipping Manager will:
