The role involves on-site deposition work within 50 miles of New Orleans, with remote depositions as ordered. The videographer will work alongside a CLFC court reporter, managing the live video stream and recording for remote sessions.

Qualifications

• Professional legal videography experience with sole responsibility for capture, audio and delivery.
• Your own professional video and audio recording equipment; government furnishes none for this contract.
• US citizenship or eligible with residency for at least three of the last five years per DoJ requirements.
• Ability to clear a Department of Justice background investigation for the assignment.
• Availability for depositions within 50 miles of New Orleans.

Responsibilities

• Produce an accurate video record of federal depositions.
• Manage the live video stream and recording on remote depositions, keeping the deponent in full view.
• Set up, test and operate professional video and audio equipment at each proceeding, with backup recording.
• Work with the court reporter so video record and transcript align.
• Protect confidentiality of testimony, recordings and exhibits.
• Maintain documented chain of custody for recorded media and deliver securely.
• Coordinate assignment claims and confirmations through CLFC BRIDGE App.
